Professor Chang Shu is an expert in the field of vascular surgery. He is the director of the Department of Vascular Surgery, National Center for Cardiovascular Diseases (NCCD), and Director in the Department of Vascular Surgery, the Second Xiangya Hospital, Central South University. He serves as the leader of the Working Group of Vascular Surgery of National Expert Committee of Cardiovascular Diseases Quality Control Center, the president of the National Society of Vascular Surgery (NSVS), a member of National Committee of Cardiovascular Diseases (NCCD) of China, a member of Surgery Society of Chinese Medical Association, a member of Vascular Surgery Group of Surgery Society of Chinese Medical Association, the vice-chairman of the Vascular Surgery Branch and Endovascology Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, the vice-president of International Angiology Union (I.U.A), an international member of Society of Vascular Surgery (SVS), an international honorary member of the Argentine College of Cardiovascular Surgeons.
