He has profound achievements in biliary tract surgery, especially in complex biliary tract surgery, such as multiple biliary tract operations, biliary tract management after biliary tract injury, and intrahepatic and extrahepatic bile duct stones surgery. As one of the earliest laparoscopic surgeons in China, he is good at laparoscopic cholecystectomy and other laparoscopic surgery. He has successively won the one-second prize of the National Scientific and Technological Progress Award, the one-second prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award, one special prize of the National Multimedia Education Software Grand Prix, one first prize for military medical and teaching achievement, one first prize and two-second prizes of provincial and ministerial level.
