Dr. Zheng Wang, M.D./Ph.D., obtained his M.D. degree from Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, and his Ph.D. from Duke University. He is currently the Associate Director of the Science and Technology Management Department and a full professor of the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery and Research Center for Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, Union Hospital, Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His research focuses on elucidating molecular mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis and metastasis of colorectal cancer. He utilizes cancer bioengineering approaches to develop novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies for colorectal precision medicine. Dr. Wang has published over 90 papers in renowned journals such as Gut, Nat Biomedical Engineering. etc, and holds over 38 invention patents. He won the "Dean's Award of Stanford University" in the United States in 2006 and has been a primary principal investigator for various national science grants.
